The Black Dahlia

The latest film to tick of the list was The Black Dahlia and tomorrow’s choice is likely to be Children and Men. Ste in the 1940s this film is based on a true unsolved murder. Elizabeth Short is the main focus of two LA cops trying to solve her Murder and the will they won’t they between Hartnett and Johansson.

Much of the focus has been put and the Hartnett/Johansson performances personally I think Swank puts on a good show as Madeleine Linscott. I got to see the cameo of McGowan which was a measly couple of minutes.

The was a pretty good movie and you have to stay alert while watching as you may miss vital information which occurs right at the time you turn to say something to your friend! This movie was strangely familiar, especially towards the end of the film I could have sawn I’ve seen bits of it before. How can that be when this is a new film??? Although come to think of it something like this must have been shown on TV or a film made under a different name!
